Oh my! I am so glad that this book came my way. It is, hands down, my favorite book of the year, and is probably going to end up on my top 5 favorite books list. This book drew me in and quickly immersed me in the characters and their lives. I laughed out loud and I cried. And that was just the first 100 pages.

Bree Boyd was an Instagram influencer with a huge number of followers. She travelled the world seeking out adventure as she went. But when she dies young after a brutal battle with cancer, her last wish is for her younger sister, Jodie, to finish the final six items on her bucket list, the ones Bree didn't manage to do herself. If she can do it, one of Bree's corporate sponsors will pay off Bree's medical bills, a debt that is crushing the Boyd family.

The bulk of this book is about Jodie's (often reluctant) efforts to fulfill her sister's dying wish, overcoming her anxiety and fears along the way, and ultimately building a new life for herself in the process. This story is a powerful tale of grief and the different ways people cope with it, as well as a wonderful story of familial and romantic love. Highly recommended.

Well, it came home with me. I got a bit of a scare when the people who stopped by that we were sharing books with took a look at it. I didn't want to add another book from Resqgeek to my shelf. But when I saw the review he reposted on Goodreads saying that this is his favorite book of the year, it made me want to read it. Resqgeek has pretty good taste in books.
