The Runaway Jury

A movie by the same title does not serve the story or John Grisham justice. This is a fictitious case against Big Tobacco...not the firearms industry. Our Founding Fathers wisely fore saw the need to defend oneself against criminal adversaries whether those adversaries be street criminals or tyrannical elements in government. They of course did not grant rights to protect cigarette manufacturers from liability. There! Soapbox is over. Read the book. It is absolutely brilliant. Keen sense of human nature and behavior pervades this story of corruption, blackmail, and intrigue. You'll love the ending! (The good guys won but they still cheated!)
Released on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at Deland Courthouse in Deland, Florida USA.
