Left on top of a gatepost at the small parking lot (more of a pullout, really) which is about 1 mi. N of Montara, on Hwy 1 northbound. Just after a bridge over the creek.

Riding my bike from Montara along the mountain trail below Montara Mountain, I found "Up Country" setting atop the entry gate post and thought it to be a neat idea. I'll be going to Long Island, N.Y. in a couple of weeks and will leave it there for someone else. I have not read it yet, maybe on the plane.

I picked my parents up from the airport and they gave me this book. They were going to leave it at the airport, but they were afraid it would get blown up. :) There was no way I was going to read it, because we have a newborn baby at home. Ha. So we released it at the Stony Brook post-office.
