This is a stunningly told story of the angst between a mother and teenage daughter. It also tells the story of the beautiful young high school student and her crush on her teacher. Only this fantasy turns into reality and Amy and Isabelle examines the ramifications of the poor decisions we make when we are young and in lust. This is one of my favorite books and I have recommended it over and over again.

I truly enjoyed this book. It's about a mother and daughter and dealing with coming of age in a small community.
