Ordered from Nalda AG, Wangen, delivered in a few days and a price (incl. postage) less than the UK price, how do they do it?

766 pages but quickly read, as the typeface is large. Good story, all the loose ends neatly tied up. We get to know the story of Pa Salt from his birth to death (though not in chronological order) through the pages of his diary, his travels around the world and how he came to adopt the six daughters, also the background stories of Georg, Claudia, Marina and Christian. It is inevitably contrived as the girls' stories and names have to fit the constellation and mythology of the Pléiades.
There are some hidden codes (I missed one essential one, as did Pa Salt himself), and it is never mentioned that the name of his nemesis Kreeg Eszu is the anagram of Greek Zeus (who incidentally uses a lightning flash as the logo for his company).
Not great literature, a couple of typos and a "descendants" when it should be "ancestors", but overall, an enjoyable read.
