I found this book in this Little Free Library in Londonderry NH while dropping off some books of my own. It discusses the concept of "ugly-cute", has a quiz in which you can find your own "ugly-cute animal muse" (mine's the pink fairy armadillo, which... was unexpected but not unwelcome {grin}), and features a wide variety of creatures that qualify (in the author's opinion) as ugly-cute, with writeups about their lives and habits. There's also an extensive rogues' gallery at the end, featuring many more photos - with quips and quotes from various sources, such as Confucious' "Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it," and Oscar Wilde's "The ugly can be beautiful. The pretty, never."
