A pathologist from Dublin tries to have a holiday in San Sebastian.
(too bad I didn't have this book last year as I was on holiday in San Sebastian in April...)
It's an ok read, easy book for travelling though not the most captivating thriller. This time it's April in Slovakia by the way!

27.5.2023: Read the book while sunbathing, finally summer has come in Vienna! I enjoyed the description of the couple on their holidays in Spain. I liked especially Evelyn, the Austrian wife of the Dublin pathologist Quirke. It's more or less his fault that the story gains pace. When the phone call to his daughter is done, the events follow in quick succession. At the end there is something like suspense for a while, but this is just a short passage. I have to admit that I am really frustrated about the end.
