Picked up from the LFL of Ruoholahti, Helsinki, just because of the title. I might also know a future reader for this book.
This was a fast read and had some good metaphores. And some not so good.
The part about war hits a bit too close saying we should send some of our top humorists to international war summits as they would not be able to start a war, their sense of humour forbids it. Ukranian president Zelensky used to be a comedian, but he is not laughing anymore. His faith has been tried more than that of most others', with Tsar Putin gone mad 13 months ago.
I would also say that building a mosque on Ground Zero as the symbol of understanding the Islamic point of view would be taking the metaphore 'of turning the other cheek' a bit too far.
But it is so very true that more blood has been shed over religion than any other issue. I may add that if religions were invented today, they would be banned.
Long live Darwin!
I'm taking part to the Helmet-challange with this book which could be read in one go.

So, is there a god? Thank you for a surprise book, Kirjakko!
