Second novel in this series and I liked it as well.
Maybe a teensy little bit less because - for me - the relationship between Charlotte and Alex developed a bit too fast. And the continuos mentioning of how attracted they are to each other and doing "it" got a bit on my nerves.
Nevertheless the story itself was fun and I am looking forward to a third novel?!

This has arrived safely in central France, shortly before I head off for three weeks - maybe I'll take it with me and read it while I am away, but send it further when I get back in September.

This book was actually mentioned (or discussed) on a podcast I was listening to this morning : "When in Romance" by Bookriot, published August 7. I immediately stopped listening because I didn't want a spoiler. I was therefore doubly delighted to find this in my mailbox when I later collected the post. (I've saved the episode and will listen to the rest once I've read the book).

Here as a bookcrossing ring/spiral, this arrived shortly before I left for Mallorca on holiday, so I have brought with me and read it here.
Here we discover the (alleged) witches which are not on great terms with the pirates. And yet... Opposites often attract, and when they find themselves joining forces to reach a common goal, surprising alliances can be formed, and much tension needing to be released.
I will send this on to the next person when I get back to France.

This heads over to London from central France after a quick foray to Mallorca where it was read. Hope everyone has enjoyed their summer.

I enjoyed this more than the first book, very funny and I like the Jane Austen references.

This will be heading back to Germany soon, probably Monday.

The Witches are back in Gauting - safe and sound - and they'd already arrived during the weekend which was a very busy one so I only had the time to journal it today..
