Bought in a charity shop
Gracie rescues old clothes and cast-offs from Applewell's charity shop, making them into cute and fresh outfits she then sells in her little shop. Turning a profit is hard at the best of times, let alone when new arrival Lucas appears.
After running away from the village in his teens, Lucas has finally returned to an uncomfortable amount of fanfare and gossip. His job requires him to streamline homeless charity UnderCover, but his plans to do so risk putting Gracie out of business.
The pair of them exchagne harsh words, but when Lucas needs some emergency needlework there's only one person he can turn to. Can Gracie patch up her relationship with Lucas, or is that a stitch too far?

I’ve really enjoyed these three books set in Applewell. The characters are great and I love the upcycling theme.

The commitment of the characters in this series to repurposing and mending what they already have makes my heart glad. I hope the author plans to write more of these books. They've each been different too, not just the same story. Now to find the next appreciative reader.
