On it’s way across the Tasman to fulfil a wish.
Thanks meganh, the book arrived yesterday. I've been unable to access the Bookcrossing site, but have found a rather roundabout way to get here. Wish we had some street libraries here, but no such luck :(
This was a difficult book to read, not only because of the different timelines and POV of several characters (so lots of jumping around), but also because of the subject matter. Misogyny and violence towards women throughout history makes for a fairly bleak read, but there were also a couple of bits of black humour to lighten it (not much).
