I found this book fascinating! I liked the way the author inserted himself into the story and found a way to relate to this hermit. While he was doing that, he made Knight seem like a romantic figure that we could all learn something from. But as the book went on and we got reactions from the townspeople that Knight regularly robbed "in order to survive," I started to think of Knight as nothing more than a homeless person. I was surprised at how my view of him changed, but overall -- great story and fast read. I want to find more by this author.
