I have had this on my bedside table for months, and have attempted to read it often. The beginning section was reasonably interesting but I thought it just rambled as it went on.
Today, read about 10 pages but finally I have given up on it at just short of 100 pages. Maybe it is lost in translation!

I visited this book at the Betty Loves Books street library tonight after Newcastle Writers Festival Trivia Night at Customs House across the road. It was such great fun and our team, Wuthering Writes, came a respectable fourth. Funnily enough the Betty Loves team won!
The Nobel Prize winner blurb on the cover almost had me taking this one home but I need to read down my TBR pile a bit more first and it would be lovely if there were other Newcastle bookcrossers to interact with, perhaps this book will introduce one.
It’s nice to have (almost) crossed paths in person with Jean-Sol after swapping books for a while through BC. I hope the weather didn’t ruin your trip to my part of the world!
