I have the UK edition. The cover is mujch nicer than the one pictured.

This book, being Japanese fiction had a quiet and reflective feel to the writing. Each chapter was a short story in itself, starring the same cast of characters. Each chapter was tragic in its own way. The titular story, Weasels in the Attic was the most affecting for me.
