I bought this from the St Michael's Hospice charity shop in Boroughbridge yesterday because I've enjoyed a few of this author's light-hearted novels in the past and, as the mother of two daughters, the title caught my eye :-)

This story tells of Naomi Miller, her two daughters, the men in their lives and other friends and neighbours. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I wanted to and it took me longer to read than I'd expected . . . for the same reason. I hate bullies! It upsets me to read about them - and there was far more bullying in this novel than I was comfortable with BUT there were other storylines that I wanted to follow, characters that I wanted spend time with, so I did finish it - but with frequent breaks to read other, more entertaining books at the same time.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

This is one of the books I swapped at the bus stop after visiting family in Topcliffe this afternoon.

Nearly two million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 over thirteen million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!

Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't have to cost anything, although the site always appreciates donations towards running costs, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!
