"As the home to more mad scientists and monsters per capita than anywhere else in the world, Pumpkins County sees its fair share of beast attacks and gargoyle incidents. (Not that anyone, except for the Creeps, seems to notice or care.) In fact, not a day goes by without something weird happening.

Today's mystery: the Frankenfrogs, a biology class dissection project gone horribly, horribly wrong. Someone reanimated these toadies and turned them into electrifying super-frogs that stun and kidnap their victims. But who? Was it Madison Gruss, the anti-dissection activist? Tom Rigby, dreamy but mysterious new kid? Perry Milburn, former science-fair champion? Or someone else entirely? Rest assured, the Creeps are determined to crack the case and save their school, even if their town thinks their passion for crime solving is weird and just...well...creepy." (summary from back of book)

This book was purchased to leave in a Little Free Library for Halloween. It is a perfect read for kids wanting a funny and slightly monstrous book.
