This book tells the story of the short- lived independent republic of Biafra Africa in the 1960s. It’s a well written account of Nigerian history, war and it’s people. I enjoyed this book which is full of rich characters and a propulsive story. It’s also a war story so there’s a lot of tragedy as well. I’m looking forward to reading another book by Adichie. I hope someone reads this book and journals on it here.
