1 journaler for this copy...
I found this softcover at this new-to-me Little Free Library in East Kingston NH while dropping off some books of my own, and nabbed it for another release copy.
This is one of the better-known Holmes stories - not, to my mind, the best, though it definitely has its points. Watson gets to carry the story for a while, which is fun, and there are plenty of atmospheric scenes and general creepiness.
The story's been adapted to large and small screens many times, and has even had a stage adaptation.
[There's a TV Tropes page on the book and some of the adaptations, with some entertaining tidbits.]
