I got this little hardcover from Better World Books. It's from a series of humorous takes on books-of-advice, in the form of books for children. They pair snarky commentary with public-domain illustrations, often to hilarious effect. I even enjoyed the description in the front:
"As in the other books in this series, the large clear script, the careful choice of words, the frequent repetition and the thoughtful matching of text with pictures all enable grown-ups to think they have taught themselves to cope."
This one focuses on various types of red tape, including the all-too-common Catch-22 situation of having lost or forgotten one's email password and having to go through the runaround of getting it reset when one does not have access to one's email. (The illustration for that one features some vintage electronics and recognizably cluttered work surfaces - I could identify!)
And there's one about people being arrested for breaking the terms of their music-downloading services, with this phraseology:
"Sadly, they forgot not to untick the non–selection box indicating they did not either wish nor unwant to avoid not failing to never not receive emails from carefully selected third parties regarding offers which might not not not not uninterest them, so now they must go to prison." I... suspect that the text is not all that far removed from some of the terms-and-conditions verbiage out there!
