I got this softcover at Barnes and Noble. It's the author's autobiography-in-manga-form of their life and loves as a nonbinary person in Japan, mixing some delightfully clear tutorials on gender, sexuality, periods, and more with the author’s own highs and lows. (I read it during Banned Book Week as this one winds up on a lot of lists; I think it ought to be recommended rather than banned, and wish it had been around when I was a teen!)
The book includes the challenges of finding one's own tribe when one doesn't fit into the most common sub-groups - including glimpses of different meetup/dating/socializing methods. Luckily our protagonist does have a local bar run by a delightful pansexual transman, making it a safe space to do some experimenting in. There are scenes of reconnecting with former friends - including some surprising revelations as to how each person's life-choices have worked out.
