This library discard was purchased at the annual Friends of the Library sale for Central Rappahannock Regional Library in northern Virginia.

This is a charming and sweet book about the Christmas traditions in some Latin American communities. My friends who were Latine did not originate in the communities with the traditions of Las Posadas, so it was cool to see a new facet of the holiday as it is celebrated in different places. The author writes an informative essay in the back that gives greater detail of the holiday and its significance. I’m saving this to send to someone for Holiday Gift Giving, as it’s a lovely thing to have during the holidays.
