Picture a retirement home for famous writers most of whom no longer write for differing reasons. Along comes caregiver Cecibel who becomes the muse some of them needed to reignite the passion for their craft.

A complicated but fascinating book. Several characters are seniors living in a retirement home for veterans of the publishing industry -- writers, editors, illustrators and so on. A big part of the plot is the collaborative effort to write a new novel. There are also several characters who have been wounded by life experiences, and who are working at the site as orderlies. There's love and lust and as much misbehavior as good actions.
