This trade paperback (c. 2014) is one of 22 books I selected today from the fabulous book assortment and giveaway on Independence Day at Parkside Little Free LIbrary in Derwood, Maryland, USA. Wishing everyone a Happy Fourth of July!
My husband is reading this book at this time.
My husband liked the story, but not the writing. Now I want to read it because part of it takes place in Japan in the very castle that my older son visited recently on his first post-pandemic trip to Japan.
I just browsed through this book and decided to give it a pass. I'll release it soon so someone else can read it.
