I got this softcover, the final in the series, at Barnes and Noble, for another release copy. I enjoyed Volume 1, which introduced young Asahi as she's offered to the rather bored-with-it-all water dragon god as a sacrifice - but the god decides to let her grow up and then see if she might make an interesting bride after all. There's a time-skip at around Volume 2, and I haven't read the intervening volumes, but this one was a rather satisfying wrap-up even without the additional detail.
Here, the main conflict seems to be whether Asahi is going to be able to stay with the god - who has given up a huge amount of his power and may not last long anyway - or if she's going to choose the faithful Subaru, who's been in love with her since their first meeting as children and who has supported her during the various trials of her life in this supernatural world.
The resolution here is rendered in leisurely, beautiful panels, dealing with the changes in the water dragon god's nature, the requirements of the afterlife, and the power of love across worlds... with some power-of-friendship thrown in, as some of the water dragon god's old associates step in at a key point.
[Spoiler-bits follow, if you really don't want to know who Asahi chooses in the end:]

I also enjoyed the omake bits at the end, one of which gives poor Subaru the opportunity to demand to know why she didn't choose him - and she delivers a rather flat exposition of manga plot fundamentals about the redemption of the not-that-nice guy over the doggedly-faithful one. All too true, at least in fiction, but pretty amusing in context.
