Back Cover " Linda Ronstadt has written a book that is as rich and full-bodied as her voice. She gives a vivid, compelling account of her upbringing in the Arizona desert, surrounded by a loving and talented family, along with a musical and cultural diversity that she would honor and build upon throughout an extraordinary career that spanned five decades. Linda's knowledge and appreciation of many genres of music make this book much more than just another rock autobiography. She has chronicled her times-the music, the places, the characters, and the challenges she met-with insight, dignity and grace, proving, once again, why she is, and will remain, on of the premier women in music. I'm still learning from her." - Don Henley

I have always loved Linda Ronstadt's music starting in the 70s - Heart Like A Wheel and then discovered her music with Nelson Riddle, her approach to the Great American Songbook.

I found this book, that was on my wishlist, at a local LFL while out releasing books. I'm looking forward to reading this one.

LOVED - LOVED - LOVED this book. I have always been a fan of Linda Ronstadt, this book makes you love her even more. I'm amazed at the detail in this book, my guess she has an incredible memory or she kept a diary/journal of her life. She values and gives credit to the various musicians she had met and worked with in her career, many who had become close friends.

This copy is headed to another bookcrosser for the wishlist tag game.

I plan on looking for another copy for my permanent collection as her entire discography is included in this book.

I've been wanting to read this book for years, as Linda is my favorite female singer and I have all of her albums.
Thank you so much for tagging me with this.
I honestly never thought I'd get my hands on a copy of it without paying a fortune or borrowing it from the library.
