During a sunny day out in Wetherby yesterday, I bought this from the Cancer Research UK charity shop, chosen because I've long been fascinated by Greek and other ancient myths and have enjoyed several of the modern versions that have been appearing lately.

A retelling of tales from Ancient Greece, largely narrated by Ariadne, daughter of King Minos and Pasiphae, sister of Phaedra. It tells of Gods: Zeus, Hera, Hades, Dionysus . . . and of Heroes: Theseus and Perseus . . . and of Monsters: the Minotaur and Medusa . . .and it makes for very interesting reading . . .

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
I gave this to tree-hugger when we saw her a few weeks ago but, as it was still shown on my Bookshelf as Available, I must have forgotten to do the Release Notes. I have now!

I'm afraid I'm having to clear out a lot of bookcrossing books unread, which I feel very bad about, but needs must. I don't read much any more, so having hundreds of books on a To Be Read shelf is silly because I know I won't get around to them - they're better off finding new homes where they might get read.
