Found in a donated box of books.

What a surprise! I pick this book to read thinking it was a romance story, it is a mystery story. I enjoyed the relationship of Clare Westbrook and her boyfriend (soon to be husband) Tony Sonterra. He is a by the book, a honest cop, and now as the undercover Sheriff of a small town in Arizona. Clare will stand by her man, but she puts herself in danger as a special investigator for the D. A. office. It was a decent story. Glad I decided to read it.
