Journal Entry 1 by kingfan30 from Somewhere in Lincs 🤷‍♂️, Lincolnshire United Kingdom on Monday, May 23, 2022
After the creepy crawly theme of the last book, it was nice to return to a story line with no critters. And from the crime point of view, I enjoyed this book. There were plenty of red herrings as to who had killed Lorna and plenty of twist and turns. I did feel that the ending felt very familiar, but can’t quite place if it was a previous Roy Grace book, or something else. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Bruno storyline is going to pan out, there have been some interesting hints as to where this might go, however I do feel bad that he’s come over to a new county to live with a dad he’s only just met, for Roy to head straight back to work and give Bruno no time. Bring on the next in the series.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Sending on after a request on the reading it want it forum.
Received in the post today as a RABCK from Kingfan30. Thanks very much. My husband is busily reading this series and then I shall pass it to my cousin and her husband who are also Grace fans. Personally I'm watching them on tv.
My husband has read this book and comments as follows" I quite enjoyed this book and guessed "whodunnit" in spite of the many red herrings. I thought some of the vulgar language was unnecessary and the story as a whole was overlong." Nevertheless we appreciate the book being sent to us and I will re-release it soon. My cousin has already read this one she says.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
This book was left on a table just inside the front entrance to the pub on a very hot sunny day during the 2022 heatwave. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday with family.

I already have books travelling in many countries around the world-a list can be found on my bookcrossing profile.
When re-releasing this book please be aware that airports are not a good place to leave books unless they have a specific book exchange shelf or area, due to security problems, so they may well just be disposed of. Also charity shops may well discard books that have been labelled in any way and they mostly chose only the books in the very best condition
to place on their shelves and discard the rest-so another bad release option.
