Having read and enjoyed 'The Reader on the 6.27' I purchased this book and wasn't disappointed, reading it in just a few days.
'The Rest Of Their Lives' tells the story of Ambroise, an embalmer, Manelle a home help and their elderly and eccentric clients.
Jean-Paul Didierlaurent has a gift for writing about ordinary people doing unusual jobs and making them into super heroes. Charming and heart warming, I loved this book.
