As I was dropping some books at a local telephone box library a few months ago, this caught my eye, mainly because we had watched the TV series. So I picked it up and added it to my book shelves. And what better time to pick it up than we were heading on holiday. Thankfully the family we were with were much better behaved than this lot!

I had kind of forgotten what the twist was, but it came back to me as I was reading the book. The characters in this are particularly annoying in their own individual ways, I couldn’t take to any of them. It is fairly quick and easy to read though although for me my interest dipped in the middle, there is only so much is it that friend, that friend or that friend having an affair with my husband I can read, it felt a bit repetitive. The twist (unless you’ve seen the show) is quite unexpected due to the red herrings chucked about. Would read more by this author.
