RubyLadyBug selected this small book from the 10 cent bin at the Friends of the Library Montgomery County Bookstore (Wheaton location) for the purpose of having more children's books to release at the Gaithersburg Book Festival in May 2022.

Cute little book with a catchy little tune. Not very traditional but cute.

I was just teaching my four-year-old granddaughter the meaning of the word gambling. We have a mutual friend who just returned from a trip to Las Vegas. I had the idea of teaching my granddaughter about gambling by playing the dreidel game...which I talked to her about today. Then, serendipitously, this book shows up for me on the very same day.

My granddaughter knows and loves the Jewish holiday of Chanukah so I plan to read this book to her before I teach her about gambling. Haha!

I just showed this book to my husband, and he noted that the words of it are sung to the tune of "Frosty the Snowman". So, of course, I had to sing the whole book right now! Ha!

I put it with my dreidel collection and made a note to take it out again when I see my granddaughter again.
