This book was heart wrenching but still quick to read as I was unable to put it down. Innocent, ordinary people became criminals over night while sadistic monsters were treated as heroes for years to come… I wish I could still think that these horrendous events are something that happened in the past and that they could never happen again but obviously I can’t.
