I picked this up in a second hand bookshop in Lagos that had only a limited selection of books in English available (later on, I discovered the excellent Owl Story Book Store there – check it out!).
This isn’t usually my type of literature, but beggars can’t be choosers. And since I was in need for something that doesn’t require much thinking, something light, funny, positive and easy to read to take my mind off things, it did the job.
Not sure I’d read more from the same author if I had a larger choice, but this novel hooked me sufficiently to finish it in two or three days.
