I’ve read the first volume previously (actually even twice, in 2011 and 2017), but wanted to go back before actually going further with the series. It felt like going back visiting friends in Cedar Cove, in some ways. This still felt like a comfy, touching read.

The characters and story are very similar to the T.V series, which is a good thing, as I really like the inhabitants of Cedar Cove . I am looking forward to book #2.

I am taking it to our February meeting. There are few members who read in English. If nobody is interested, it will be put on the shelf for other patrons to enjoy.

A light reading... why not ? It's sometimes so necessary in this difficult time. Thank you Tamsine.
