WILD RELEASE NOTES:
in the little library
I found this hardcover in the Little Free Library while stopping by to drop off some books of my own, and was delighted to see another BC book! It's a tie-in edition of the book that inspired the Netflix TV series. It's received excellent reviews, and deals with topics that are very important, primarily bullying and suicide among teens.
[There's a TV Tropes page on the book.]

I'm adding this book to the Bookbox with Legs (see its bookbox journal here). The box will be on its way to its next stop soon; hope someone enjoys the selection!

Thirteen Reasons Why is a must read book.
Hannah Baker commits suicide and leaves her suicide note in the form of cassette tapes, which are to be listened to and passed to each of the thirteen people who contributed to why Hannah took her life.
Two stories are told in parallel. One story is Hannah's story, from the cassette tapes, in her words. The other story belongs to Clay, one of the thirteen people in Hannah's tapes. His story/reaction is told as he listens to Hannah's tapes.
One of the biggest take-aways from this story, is how what you say and do impacts others. While you may not think anything of your actions, it may have a bigger impact than you could possibly imagine on other people.
