Lauren and Alex are days away from their Hamptons wedding when Alex’s nephew, Johnny is abducted. Lauren, Alex, Johnny’s parents and Lauren’s father an ex-NYPD detective are determined to track down whoever has taken Johnny and return Johnny home to his family. Not a bad read, a few twists and turns along the way as to who the abductor might be.

#7 and the last in the Under Suspicion series. This is Mary Higgins Clark's final book, published in 2020 the year she died. She finished on a high note as this is an entertaining read with all her hallmark touches in place. We have an extensive cast of characters, the short staccato chapters, the classic red herrings and the anticipated satisfying finish.
