I had to rate this a ten as I can't think of a single thing that I didn't like.
I thought the way it was written, then and now, was very good. I loved the main two characters, Erin and Lori.
Excellent read.

When I first saw the Then and Now I was worried I'd lose track of what was going on but it wasn't a complicated book. 2 main characters - one voiced in the past in 3rd person, one in the present in first person, both well fleshed and nicely written. The rest of the characters were all a bit vague and loose and I didn't really care what happened to them.

It was an easy read for a holiday, quite enjoyable but definitely not "unputdownable" or "totally addictive" as stated on the cover. Supposedly a clever psychological mystery there wasn't a great deal of mystery and apart from the detailed research that had obviously been done to get the realities of life right, it wasn't particularly clever with two rather linear stories merely being told at the same time. I would say I could have just skipped to the end to find the answer to the one question the book was really about and I would have been satisfied.

If you need something to while away the hours, read it. If you are looking for something thought provoking or vaguely challenging, don't bother.

Brought with me to France for summer holiday reading and left in the book-box in town.
