I wish it had been more wonderful - the author is the genius who wrote the wacky Broadway hit "Noises Off!" and the brilliant play "Copenhagen" - (see it!). The book has a lot of excellent history and the characters are charming, unfortunately Frayn couldn't decide whether he was writing a history of Breugel or a romantic comedy. It was definitely worth reading, though.
