This is book one from the Alphabet Book Club book subscription service that Alkalinekiwi, FutureCat and I have bought as a ring.
I was super impressed by the time and effort put into the small gifts that accompanied this book and can't wait to see what you both think, and what we'll get next month!
The first half of this book my thoughts were mostly that I'm glad I'm not a teenager anymore (which got stuck in my head to the tune of 'glad I'm not a Kennedy'). Once I got further in I was swept up in the plot.

This shows you how much of a Bookcrosser I'm not these days - I didn't even think to look for a BCID until after I finished reading the book!
A sweet story about teenage angst, good friends, and learning the patience to let people grow at their own pace. And yes, totally agree Discoverylover - glad I'm not a teenager!
There was obviously a lot of thought went into selecting/creating the gifts, and it was clear whoever did it must have read and loved the book. As I was reading the book and getting closer to a page that had a gift attached, I started trying to guess what the gift would be - I actually got it right a couple of times! I think the gifts are definitely aimed at the young adult market (which makes sense given that's who the book is also aimed at) - although I thought all of the gifts were sweet, and really well chosen, none of them leapt out at me as something I'd be desperate to keep for myself (which is probably a good thing when it comes time to share them out among us - fewer arguments ;-) ).

Yep for as much as I love reading YA I am glad my teen years are behind me.
I thought this was a fun read and while reading it thought about the parallels to Grease. For me the romance wasn't my favourite part, I wasn't super invested in if they ended up together or not. I found the friendships way more interesting.
