Last book of year 2021, read for the Reindeerathon for the book with red or green cover prompt.
This is a light hearted attempt at the history of snowman. As there is no archaeological evidence of snowmen, which hardly survive the next morning, let alone thousands of years, the author searched for snowman in medieval arts and documents, but most of the history is from recent pop cultures: movies, postcards and more. It's curious to see how snowman had a darker, more sexual side of it, not quite as innocent and family friendly as today's image.
