No3. in the Alex Rider series.

(7/01/22) More of the same, but in a good way. i like the way that Horowitz takes a lot of the Bond book and film tropes and adapts them for a reluctant teenage spy. This book, the 3rd in the series, includes scuba diving, fork-lift truck and jet ski attacks, a fight in a private jet, the CIA, an evil plan involving a nuclear bomb, a tropical island lair, and gadgets … phew!

There is also a sub-plot about a Chinese Triad and Wimbledon betting scam, in which Alex first meets Sabina Pleasure. They ended up on holiday surfing in Cornwall, which all came out in an odd mash-up in the first 2 Amazon series, although the main Skeleton Key plot itself hasn't been filmed (yet).
