I usually love Stephen Leather but this was disappointing. The love interest never developed and although people died I never cared about any of them. There was too much time spent developing an overly complicated plot and while I am sure that in real life the spy world is just as convoluted, in the pages of the book I just didn't care. I have finished the book and I'm not sure why the murder took place, but I am definitely sure it doesn't matter to me.
