Miss Silver is another Miss Marple. Which one was created first ?

The characters are exagerated : the nasty seductress, all men panting after her, the paralyzed woman who can walk, the plain elderly knitting woman who guesses everything and overhears the right thing at the right moment... Nothing either original or exciting. Not even the wrong victim.

Let's remember it was written nearly one century ago. It's old fashioned but must have been entertaining when first published.
