Thank you, buttonbright, for this RABCK! I've read a couple of novels from this series and enjoyed them very much, so I've been wanting to read more. I also enjoyed the TV adaptation.

The cast and crew of an upcoming play are under suspicion when the playwright is murdered. This is a very good installment in the Inspector Lynley series but the real star of the story is his partner Detective Sergeant Havers.
