2nd read. This book was written in the mid-1960's and is a classic Dick Francis. Its typical of the early DF books and is engaging, very British, and just a little bit brutal. Even if you know nothing about racing or horses Dick Francis can draw you in and holds your interest, the story builds to a tense climax. Fantastic read!
