Really enjoyed this. Saw it had a Between the Covers 2020 sticker on it so knew it would be a good read. Set in Trinidad, I love the little unconventional family group created as a result of Betty Ramdin’s alcoholic husband dying from a ‘fall’ down the stairs. Themes covered include prejudices against gays, loss & love.
