This debut novel by Aussie author Loraine Peck is a gritty, action-packed thriller set in the inter-ethnic, organised crime, world of western Sydney. I found the lower-octane interludes, in which the author explored the close-knit multigenerational family life of the Croatian protagonists, insightful and intriguing. Worth reading.
