This book is just so much fun. It takes place in a universe that is Not Quite Star Trek, about the sorts of characters who, in Star Trek, die on every away mission. The difference here is that these "Red Shirts" (as they're called by Trekkies) start noticing patterns. It's a quick read, definitely recommended for Star Trek fans.
