I found this book in the book exchange box in Harston village and grabbed it after all the hype around Zadie Smith and her books. In the meantime, I have read N-W and found her style intriguing but difficult to read.
On beauty is apparently based on Howard's End - loosely - and set both sides on the Atlantic and promises to be every bit as intellectual as her other books. It is widely loved and admired and I can see why. I just struggle with the heaps of descriptions and that she manages to create people in her stories that are soo very, very irritating.
I definitely recommend it if you want to check out the Hype.
