My friend and neighbour (BookCrosser Blower) offered me a selection from a second large bag of books given to her by a mutual friend who'd been having a Big Clearout. They included several nonfiction/memoirs/travel books about Italy which may not be entirely to my taste, never having been there and not likely to, but I thought I'd give them a go!

Although I'm not a huge fan of Dickens, I'm interested to read this one because just last week it was featured in a television programme, one of a series with Rupert E Grant, Write Around the World, in which he discusses books in the locations in which they were written. Fascinating!
